Progressive Opens Concierge Claims Center in Milford, Conn.; Second Such Facility in the State and 54th in the Country
March 14, 2007 — The Progressive Group of Insurance Companies, the third largest auto insurance group in Connecticut and the country, opens its second concierge claims center in the Bridgeport-New Haven area offering a new level of service that reduces drivers' time spent dealing with accident repairs from about four days to about 15 minutes. Progressive's new Milford facility offers Progressive customers, as well as anyone involved in a claim with these customers, the choice of using a "concierge" level of claims service in which Progressive manages the claims/repair process from start to finish on their behalf.
The opening of the new facility at 302 Woodmont Road in Milford marks the 54th Progressive center in the U.S. and the second in Connecticut.
