Progressive Opens First Service Center in Hartford, Conn.
Oct. 12, 2006 — The Progressive Group of Insurance Companies, the third largest auto insurance group in the country and in Connecticut, opens its first Service Center in the Hartford area that reduces drivers' time spent dealing with accident repairs from about four days to about 15 minutes. Progressive's new Newington Service Center offers drivers the choice of using a "concierge" level of claims service in which Progressive manages the claims/repair process from start to finish on their behalf.
The opening of the new Service Center at 40 Commerce Court marks the 49th Progressive Service Center in the U.S. and the first in Connecticut.
Progressive's Total Loss Concierge service is also available to drivers in Hartford and throughout the state. With Total Loss Concierge, Progressive helps people whose cars have been declared total losses after accidents find and buy replacement cars.
