Progressive Opens First California Service Center in San Diego
May 1, 2006 — The Progressive Group of Insurance Companies, the third largest auto insurance group in the country, introduces a new level of service that reduces drivers' time spent dealing with accident repairs from about four days to about 15 minutes. Progressive's new San Diego Service Center offers drivers the choice of using a "concierge" level of claims service in which Progressive oversees all elements of the vehicle repair on behalf of the driver.
The opening of the new Service Center at 4141 Ruffin Road marks the 28th Progressive Service Center in the U.S. and the first in California.
