Progressive Opens First Service Center in Ft. Lauderdale
May 31, 2006 — The Progressive Group of Insurance Companies, the third largest auto insurance group in the country and fourth largest in Florida, introduces a new level of service that reduces drivers' time spent dealing with accident repairs from about four days to about 15 minutes. Progressive's new Service Center in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale area offers drivers the choice of using a "concierge" level of claims service in which Progressive manages the claims/repair process from start to finish on their behalf.
The opening of the new Service Center at 3710 West Commercial Blvd., Tamarac, Fla., marks the 36th Progressive Service Center in the U.S. There are now seven Service Centers in Florida — two in the Orlando area and one each in Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Miami, Tampa and West Palm Beach.
