Progressive Breaks Ground for New Service Center in Atlanta
June 29, 2006 — With the help of Georgia Insurance Commissioner, John W. Oxendine, The Progressive Group of Insurance Companies, the third largest auto insurance group in the country and second largest in Georgia, breaks ground for its third Service Center in Atlanta offering even more drivers a new level of service that reduces the time they spend dealing with accident repairs from about four days to about 15 minutes. Progressive's newest Service Center in Decatur offers Progressive Direct® and Drive® Insurance from Progressive customers, as well as anyone involved in a claim with them, the choice of using a "concierge" level of claims service in which Progressive manages the claims/repair process from start to finish on their behalf.
The new Service Center, which is located at 2874 E. Ponce De Leon Ave., is scheduled to open in late 2006. Currently, there are 40 Progressive Service Centers in the U.S. including two in Atlanta — one in Marietta and one in Norcross.
