Seven Agents Win Travel Trailers In Progressive's "Year of the RV" Contest
Travel trailers are valued at $15,000 each
ROSEVILLE, Minn — August 23, 2004 —Just in time for a summer road trip, seven lucky agents will hit the road in style as the winners of the Progressive group of insurance companies' "Year of the RV" contest.
To be eligible for the contest, agents and brokers had to complete a survey on Progressive's agency-dedicated Web site, ForAgentsOnly.com (FAO). They also had to submit at least one new Progressive RV policy application. Each new application was an entry, and winners were selected at random.
The winners each received a 2005 Jayco Jay Feather® EXP 18' travel trailer valued at $15,000 and were from the following agencies: Darnielle Insurance (Billings, Mont.), Southern Insurance Association (Bunnell, Fla.), Lazy Days Insurance (Seffner, Fla.), Golden Green (Seneca, S.C.), Crowel Agency (Michigan City, Ind.), Saratoga Community Insurance Agency, Inc. (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) and Century Insurance Group (Bend, Ore.).
"It's surprising and exciting to win the travel trailer," said Bob Federice, president of Saratoga Community Insurance Agency, Inc. "The whole agency put forth a great effort, but we really just handled business as usual. We always quote Progressive first because they have the lowest rates and the best claims service."
The countrywide contest, announced in April, was created to showcase Progressive's new RV insurance product features and to encourage agents and brokers to explore the profitable growth opportunities of the RV market.
